Sleek and stylish, the Digitech Whammy visually stands out from other pedals. The red coated metal chassis is offset by black and silver highlights with the Digitech logo emblazoned in silver on the front. Pretty spiffy. The expression pedal is has grippy rubber pads so your sweaty nubs won’t slip off at a gig. The I/O, power, and MIDI jacks are all located on the sides in the correct configuration to keep the visual (and electrical) flow smooth on your pedalboard and the rubber feet on the bottom give it some grip in case you’ve gotta set it on the concrete. The function selector knob is black and turns a full 360 degrees so there’s no annoying back and forth action, just turn to what you want and rock it out. The Digitech Whammy turns on and off via a relay based micro switch with millions of cycles in it to keep from wearing out or failing when you need it most.
